Auto-Traefik Version 3.0
I won't recap every little change in Version 3. The release announcement for version 2 highlights improvements compared to the first release.
Here, I will highlight what has changed since the release of version 2. In version 2, a menu-based UI was introduced. The other significant addition was Authelia. In addition, the whole framework was changed to breakdown the services into their own individual docker compose files.
Version 3, leverages the foundation laid in Version 2 and takes it one level up. Here are the key changes that have happened since version 2 was released in November 2023.
- NEW: Added Dozzle, Homepage, Uptime-Kuma, MariaDB, phpMyAdmin, Guacamole.
- NEW: Ability to do Checks, Docker Environment Setup, and Socket Proxy Setup for free.
- NEW: Backups (create, view, restore, and delete)
- NEW: Additional ability (Docker Environment Setup, Socket Proxy Setup, etc.) for registered free-membership tier - Sign Up for Starter - Free membership.
- NEW: Docker Secrets support.
- NEW: Change Authentication of Docker/Non-Docker apps.
- NEW: Switched from Cloudflare Global API key and Email to Scoped API token.
- NEW: Manage Docker Disk Usage.
- ENHANCEMENT: Introduced Expert Mode to allow overrides.
- ENHANCEMENT: Numerous UI/UX improvements.
- ENHANCEMENT: Added password suggestions wherever password needs to be set
