Amazon Fire Devices Deregistered Spontaneously: Effort Against Piracy?

Some users have been reporting that their Amazon Fire Devices deregistered automatically from their Amazon accounts, forcing them to register or login to their accounts again in order to be able to use them properly. This is rumored to be part of an ongoing effort by Amazon in order to defeat pirate resellers which pre-load the Amazon Fire TV with lots of streaming apps and link them to Amazon dummy accounts. Amazon Fire Devices Deregistered
Some Amazon Fire Devices Have Deregistered From Their Accounts, Forcing Users To Register Them Again.

What happens to Amazon Fire Devices Deregistered?

Most of the time this is just a mild annoyance, forcing the owner to log again into their Amazon account on the device. However, some device owners have reported that not only their Amazon Fire Devices deregistered, but also their Amazon accounts got closed. Apparently this issue only happens if you have lots of devices registered to a single account, so if you only have a couple of Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV stick devices, you should be fine.

Best Media Player Sticks / Dongles:
  1. Amazon Fire TV Stick- $39.99 Editors Pick
  2. Roku Streaming Stick (3600R) - $49.00
  3. Intel Compute Stick CS125 Computer with Intel Atom x5 - $129.99
  4. RBSCH MK808B PRO Smart TV Android 5.1 Amlogic S905 Quad Core - $32.99
  5. NEXBOX 809VI Android 5.1 TV Stick Rockchip 8-Core - $69.69

Also, some devices that have been deregistered lose app shortcuts under the "Recent" section, which is affecting users that start Kodi through it. There are lots of applications now that let you stream from Android devices, so perhaps an eventual Kodi blocking by Amazon could be bypassed by using streaming apps such as Terrarium TV for Android, or some of these best Legal Android Streaming apps. Stay tuned for more news and ways to stream from your favorite devices!
